Welcome to the Mansfield Read It blog! We hope that everyone gets to enjoy reading some great books this summer, and there’s no better way to find a great book than getting a ‘thumbs up’ from someone who’s already read it. So read, read, read and then post your book review! After your post is read, we will put an image of the book on our Shelfari bookshelf so you can recognize it.

Did you hear about a book that you think might be perfect for you? Look for the books people are talking about at the Mansfield Public Library. Be sure to take advantage of their Summer Reading Program – it’s fun and it’s free!

Reading over the summer and sharing your thinking about your reading is one of the best ways to keep your academic skills up to date - not to mention getting to enjoy some fantastic books!

Do you have a book that you love, but it might not be age-appropriate for all middle elementary kids? We are working on keeping this blog appropriate for everyone, so ‘when in doubt, leave it out’.

And don’t forget to check out the awesome websites that let you sharpen your language arts skills! There are games to play, wacky web tales to write, and much more!

So let's get started reading and posting! Go to the How-To tab to find directions for posting a book review and a website review. We're looking forward to hearing from you!

**Have a parent register you so you can join the conversation!  Go to the Student Registration tab to get started.**
